In recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, BCAC will be sharing weekly tips and tools to help you keep the kids in your life safe.  We'll also give you suggestions on how you can raise awareness about child sexual abuse in fun and new ways. Thanks for being part of the BCAC team!

Prevention Tip

The first step in preventing child sexual abuse is understanding what it is and talking about it. Child sexual abuse is a crime of secrecy. We can only reduce it if we talk about it by gaining the language and the comfort to discuss it. Start today by having a conversation with people, especially the children, in your life.
